How many Facebook friends do you have? I have had a Facebook page for about a year and, in that time, I have listed 63 Facebook users as friends. As I search Facebook, I notice that some folks have 500 “friends”. Are they really friends? Part of the phenomena of Facebook is that desire to reach beyond ourselves and seek communion with others.

If you are a parent and you “friend” your children online, maintain a reasonable distance. At the same time speak with them about who they communicate with and what information they share.
