Pray-as-you-go

Get God on your ipod! Pray-as-you-go is a daily prayer session, designed for use on portable MP3 players, to help you pray while  traveling to and from work, study, etc. Or just whenever you feel the need.

Lasting between ten and thirteen minutes, it combines music, scripture and some questions for reflection.

The aim is to help you to:

- become more aware of God’s presence in your life

- listen to and reflect on God’s word

- grow in your relationship with God.

A Lenten Retreat
It is suggested that the talks below be divided up during Lent according to the schedule below. Of course, there are a number of other ways to do it. Use whatever means will help use this resource to bring depth and life to your Lent Journey.

LISTENING TO THE RETREAT CONFERENCES:

To listen to one of the conferences, simply click anywhere on the icon of a control panel, under each of the conference headings. Your browser should automatically begin to play the recordings.

Downloading the Audio Retreat Conferences as MP3 files.
The fourteen mp3 files of the audio retreat have been combined together for easy downloading in self-extracting compressed files. That means that once they are download, all that is necessary is to click on the file, and it will decompress and extract the three files.

The individual mp3 files can be
• Listened to on a computer, without being connected to the internet.
• Copied to an mp3 player or PDA that plays mp3 files.
• Burned to a CD and played on a CD player that plays mp3 files.

Burning CD’s
The mp3 files below, once extracted, will play on any PC (and a Mac with the right software).
They can be burned (copied) to CD’s in two formats:
• If they are copied as “Data,” they will remain as mp3 files and will play on any CD player that plays mp3 files. All 14 files will easily fit on one CD.
• If they are copied as “Music,” they will be converted to CD media files and will play on any CD player. Only two files will fit on each CD, so it will take 7 CD’s to copy in this format..
